Daylight breaks a sweet resolve to mystery,
petals unwind with the gentle swing;
dwindling voice, my lullaby.
Some response to a call,
again the trees sing.
My path, drifting as a student of ways,
came across the riverbank,
pieces of selves exchanged in the waves,
splashing crashes of mind, me?
Who knows what that is.
We are here,
and flowing rightfully so.
Your shine of love-filled light will continue,
grace the world with your care
my dear, wield it with grace.
Me? Oh not a worry,
always new paths found and driven.
Once again I rise from the birthing fire,
a new song glistens through the stars,
here to serve and progress,
can you catch it?
Certainly new ways kinder and realer can always be learnt,
if only you listen.
Many suns have since set and risen,
fresh and alive, we too
rise at daylight for a new day to love.
